Someone mentioned potentially cutting Aaron Holiday, converting Davidson, and then using Holiday's roster spot for a center.

The problem there is going to be the first apron hard cap.

Like, you can make the roster spots work that way, but I don't know if you'd have the money to sign both a buyout guy and then convert Davidson to a standard.

The Rockets have the Mavs' 2029 pick.

His salary is big, but not huge, $39 million.

He's 34 years old, coming off a torn ACL, so they don't have a ton of leverage.
