If you want to finish your career in Kansas city.
You know, I think the, at least what they were, you know, telling us at the podium, like I,
I think they want a little bit more of a changeup along the defensive line.
I mentioned this, aside from Chris Jones along the defensive line, how often have you seen the Chiefs get these, what I would call instant sacks, where the quick move beats the man and suddenly they're in the quarterback and that play is so broken up it has no chance.
Chris Jones has one that's less frequent nowadays, but he's the type of player that has done that in the past.
You don't really see that a ton from...
a George Carl office when Mike Dana was here, you didn't really see that a ton necessarily.
I mean, it was these motor sacks where they would get, you know, they would, they would continue their energy throughout a play and then eventually get to the quarterback in theory, like if it works out, you know, and that is a second round or not a first.
You know, the talent is a little bit less theoretically, but our Mason Thomas should be that change up that you need, that speed rusher that they haven't had in a long time.
And I think when you have that type of player and then he could do what he did in college at the next level, that just gives you an addition where you're feeling like you're being able to throw different pitches at the opposing offensive line.
Thomas at Oklahoma was described as a closer.
Chris Jones was that guy.
I mean, you had Frank Clark be that guy when he was here.
But I feel like they've missed that closer type of let's go finish the game on defense with the supposing offense.
And Thomas can be that guy should his college day translate to the NFL.
I think at the beginning of his career, you'll see that.
I think you'd ideally like him to develop.
