Because I did actually go to John Buchanan, one of the coaches at Wynnum.
He sent me to a sports psychologist, but she went to her for two sessions.
But I think she was not really specialized in that sort of area.
But for me, you just do it because you think it's going to lead to good performance and also an injury-free game.
So how many would you have in a game?
It's, it would have started getting out of control and it would have like got bigger and then smaller.
And then the more nervous you get one of the, um, guys at Toowoomba,
He actually pulled me aside a young fella and he goes, Oh, like, Hey Pete, like, and he's having a little bit of trouble with it himself.
Like, um, and I explained, you know, like my theory on it, like, but the big thing is like, if you think something bad will happen and you stop doing it, like if something semi bad happens, when you stop doing it, how are you going to stop?
And as Preston Campbell described it, um,
Like it's the fear of doom, you know, the fear of what if.
Like, cause I think pressing, he said that he tried to stop doing it.
And then at like 4am he had to get up and do those lights in the fridge.
And then he went out and played a game and one of his teammates like snapped his leg in half right in front of him when he hadn't done something.
