Look, I just hate this conversation because of what the potential ramifications are, which is both sides are stuck together.

on a certain subject and that subject is salary cap and it's the be all and end all it feels like for the owners and it's also the opposite for the players so I just think we are in such a good spot with the sport at the moment that there has to be a way that this gets done without that rude word lockout being mentioned because I just think it's going to do so much damage

to the sport if we don't start at the end of March, early April next year and I just, I don't know if it recovers with all the options that people have to put their attention to these days.

But I think it's a good sign that they've at least established motive

conversation this early.

Like, it may not be going anywhere, but there's been, you know, there's been some proposals thrown out there, albeit, you know, maybe horseshit, but at least the conversation has started.

And I do want to believe that there's enough people

of importance on both sides who want to get this done fairly that, uh, I could be completely wrong, but I, I just, I, I wish I hope and everything, all that I can do.

I just hope that we don't have a lockout at all.

Like let's just get it done before Christmas.
