Uh, this is something that we'll have to keep our eyes on in terms of what path, if there are is indeed a house bill and there is indeed a Senate bill.
And they obviously have very different structures to them, which is the one that the bears prefer.
It felt like the pilot legislation was one that was, uh,
moving in the right direction for a while.
It obviously passed through the Senate.
It got amended.
All sorts of things happened.
It felt like the option that the Bears championed.
And then there was this new bill introduced in the final hours of the spring legislative session late on May 31st that you have to try to figure out what does that look like?
And that seems more mirroring the Indiana model of a stadium authority that would basically own the stadium and do all those types of things.
And so
I don't know.
It doesn't feel to me right now like lawmakers feel motivated to try to get a special session in.
I don't think a lot of folks, particularly in the Chicago contingent, feel like this pressure from Indiana is so great that they're in danger of losing the bears before November.
that's where the whole game of poker comes into play.
And so it's just going to be fascinating to see not only what happens, but how fast it happens and how quickly Illinois politicians feel they need to react if they're indeed serious about finding a way to keep the Bears playing their home games in Illinois.

And married up with that soundbite, there was the sentiment that he expressed last week where he just felt like the, the type of guys that are on this roster are the type of guys that were intentionally brought here.
You know, we've talked a lot about that passion component that Ben has sought out to have guys that just really want to do football, football, football, and nothing else.
