It looks like Sean McDermott would have two years left on his contract.
Because in June of 2023, the Bills announced a two-year contract extension for McDermott along with Brandon Bean running through the 2027 season.
So they had a contract up to 25, and then they added two more years onto that.
So, you know, he could sit back and he doesn't have to do anything and still get paid two years worth of salary.
There's so many jobs open right now, though.
I mean, Kevin Stefanski kept the defensive coordinator in Atlanta.
So, I mean, it's not out of the realm of possibilities that a new head coach could end up keeping Joe Brady there if Josh Allen likes him.
In the second round again.
This will be a really interesting hire.
It really will be.
I mean, they're all interesting for sure, but this one comes with a ready-built, playoff-ready, playoff-scarred, playoff-playing-well quarterback, except for yesterday or Saturday.

I don't know why the Bears didn't call a timeout here.
And I'll tell you why.
You really want to try to ice them?
I mean, it is cold out there.
An extra 30 seconds, 40 seconds, whatever it would have been, I would have called the timeout.
Not if you can cash those timeouts in for anything else.
Overtime timeouts don't matter.
They don't matter.
