Leicester have confirmed former Southampton and Rangers boss Russell Martin is their new manager.

He has agreed a three-year deal with the now League One club.

Martin's been out of work since he was sacked by Rangers last October.

And Scotland captain Caroline Weir signed a three-year contract with French champions Lyon after leaving Real Madrid.

The 30-year-old midfielder spent four years in Spain.

She scored 63 goals in 125 games.

She was voted Real Player of the Year in 2023 and 2025, as well as the Spanish Player of the Year three years ago.

Lyon have won the Champions League a record eight times, although they haven't won it since 2022, and they were beaten 4-0 by Barca in this year's final.

And three-time runners-up, the Netherlands, are held to a 2-all draw by Japan.

But first today, Sweden were convincing 5-1 winners over Tunisia in the early hours of Monday morning.

Brighton midfielder Yasin Ayari scored two.

Liverpool striker Alexander Isak and Arsenal frontman Victor Jokeres were also on target for Graeme Potter's side.
