But as the weeks have gone by, our depth has been exposed.
the games have gone the way we are.
We now realise that we need to rethink what we're doing a little bit and adjust our game, as I'm sure the Melbourne Storm did and the Broncos are thinking about that, the Raiders are thinking about that and other teams at the bottom.
Well, that's a coaching issue again.
I don't know it's a rethink in attacking game plan.
I think it's more being able to attack from different points on the field and expand your β I think over the last couple of years, we've built our name on kick, chase, tackle, which is bring the opposition down the other end of the field, hold them down there for as long as time, high-speed grind, work them to death,
fatigue them out, then score the points later in the second half when we get them.
And that's how we won games all the way through last year and the year before.
Now it's less likely that you're going to dominate teams physically defence-wise, all right, because of the way penalties are handed out and the way they're given.
And now your teams in trying to avoid giving away penalties and avoid giving away six agains, the defence has become a little bit more submissive and that gives these big, strong, fast players plenty of opportunity to put their attacking players on the whole length of the field.
Right at the moment, we're probably not built like that, nor do we think like that.
And that's the strategy change that our coaches are considering at the moment.
And that will go towards our recruitment and our development going forward.
Provided we're confident this is what's going to last forever.
Do you think this is going to last forever?
Do you think they've locked into this now and this is how football is going to be forever?
Because it's going to change a lot of careers.
Yeah.
It depends on origin.
Yeah.
