No one's going to die here.
Where these other people went and gave their lives.
When did you sleep?
I watch golf from all over the world every week.
so i watched the european tour what's the oh you love it i love it okay yeah i was a fanatical golfer you know i love the golf and so i watched it all yeah did you still get out do you still have a hit no i loved my golf i took it up very very seriously when i retired from playing and i played very regular but then i've had um my goal in life was to get a membership at the australian golf club that's what was my goal in life and did you achieve it i did okay on the 14th of may 2011
On the 15th of May, 2011, I started work at Panthers.
I had one game in the next eight years.
And I had to let my membership go.
Well, by then I'd had two back surgeries and I've had three back surgeries now and I need another one.
too old i just you know every now and then i'll sneak up the driving range and hit a few balls just for inspiration but i can't play anymore now you enjoyed your life's goal for a day for an hour oh my god i walked out i said i'm a member of the australian that's great one game in eight years what would you the lowest your handicap's got to
end at two or three oh wow two or three holy so did you hear that sebo over there he's on eight something like that no i was really serious for a while i was practicing a lot my dad was a really good golfer um dad played off plus three or four and played in some australian opens in new south wales opens as a as an amateur and he begged me for years to play and i wouldn't i was football and cricket you know cricket in the summer football in the winter that's all i wanted to do and then when i retired from playing
You know, it's really weird, like in retirement, when you've been sort of playing competitive sport all your life, I needed something competitive to do.
And by this time I was coaching, I was a young football coach.
So when I went to coach at Penrith, I was living at Leonet, which was right on the back of Leonet Golf Club.
So I used to go down every morning and every afternoon, hit 300 balls across the fairways.
just to relax yeah and taught myself the game that way so there you go i was self-taught oh so you're you're a big fan have you ever had or tried to explore an opportunity to play at augusta
Every time a contract come up at nine, they'd say, oh, we'll send you to Augusta one year, but it's never happened.
