I actually covered the Surrey-Sussex game and he was really good on the field.
He's misunderstood as a kind of a lunk-headed seamer, but he's a smart bloke and he's got a very good cricket brain.
And if he can stay fit, then he has to be back in that team.
So I'm quite pleased that he's been recalled.
But again, just as the team itself is on a knife edge, he is on a knife edge.
If he comes in and bowls an innocuous couple of spells with a new ball and then comes back and he's a bit down on pace, then the speed gun's going to be screaming at him and everyone will be piling in again.
And that's the nature of it.
People, they want to like this team, but they don't quite know how to at the moment.
And as Robinson comes into it, and it could be...
Could be that it blows up in his face quickly, or it could be that he fulfils the role that he should have been doing for the last three or four years, which is England's best newborn bowler.
See?
Ford walks across and naturally... You've already put a big line through him, have you?
Yeah, so Bethel looks like he is fit, so he'll come in at three, and that's great for English cricket.
He's played one home test match back at six,
He'll be in at three.
It looks like he's fit after the IPL.
And Emilio Gay will open.
And we have a reserve player called James Rue, who scores lots of runs for Somerset.
He would have played at three if Bethel hadn't made it.
And then it would have been a bat-off between Emilio Gay and James Rue.
