Well, they shouldn't be allowed in.
They can go to another country that's bordering.
The way the asylum laws work is if you can go to a bordering country,
And an ocean is not a border.
So if you can go to it.
If you're on an island.
So the only islands that I can think of that you'd be talking about would be Cuba.
And Cubans have been, I think that I would say, okay, we could make an exception for Cuba.
to entertain your argument, but otherwise.
But I mean, so yeah, to your point, fine.
For the sake of argument, Cuba.
But other than that, the only countries that actually have legitimate claim to asylum are Canada and Mexico.
Anyone else from anywhere else, they have to stop at the first country that they come from.
England is an island and they don't border the United States.
