I would assume that if it's in the bottle, it's ready to go.
When I used to fly for Pan Am at the end of the long trips to Rio, we would take all the leftover red wine and put it in a big ice bucket and throw all the leftover fruit from first class in there.
And maybe on the way back to the hotel, it disappeared.
I don't know.
