Louis Blues were the first team to tell teams they were open for business a number of weeks ago, although not a whole lot has happened since then.

I think that was pretty straightforward.

But to answer your question, though, I think there are some teams that kind of say that and want their players to find out about that.

The dilemma is so fascinating to me for Vancouver.

The priority remains, as Greg said, is to sign Quinn Hughes if they can.

Duh.

I mean, he's the franchise, one of the greatest players ever to play.

They can't sign him until July 1st.

But...

If you wait until July 1st and only then realize he's not signing, if that's what ends up happening, now you're into a process where maybe the best trade you get is with the team that he'll sign with, and that gets CAA, his representation, involved.
