We cherish the friendship a lot, and there's a lot of history, and we completely recognize that this is our fault for bringing them into the thruple, but how do we transition them back into a platonic friend without sounding like we're kicking them out of the band?

But as we got more serious, I started to see her true colors.

Since then, it's been snide comments about my job, shady texts behind my back, trying to exclude me from family events.

All the while, my partner doesn't know how to handle this because he says he doesn't want to hurt either of us.

He does say he takes my side and he's called her out a few times.

Which has resulted in being iced out, which is great for me because I get a break from her.
