So I think that's one thing that's important to note, that whether it's the pressure or pull, the outcomes are the same.
You're muted, Don.
I think what's been interesting for this administration that in some ways Nick Fuentes was getting at is the sense that ever since the administration took office, they benefited for a moment from what the Republican Party has always benefited from, which is the idea that they always have at least one crutch issue that either by virtue of sociopolitical dynamics or by virtue of the media's failings,
There's always one issue that they can just, for no better reason other than vibe, say is their issue.
So often that's immigration or border security.
In an amorphous way, that's a Republican issue.
Or if not that, the economy.
And...
The problem with the fact that the Trump administration cannot explain in any clear way why they're doing this war is that all the noise will be fine if they had at least one or two things they could rely on, which has been the case before.
I mean, they got reelected again, for darn sake, even though Trump has always been a very noisy, messy person.
When the Epstein files don't get released, that was supposed to be a crutch issue.
That's not happening in any clear, transparent way.
We're getting it now, but there is a cover up every other day practically with the files that keep rescinding.
with immigration, your signature issue, you make it so polarizing such that the one thing you could always rely on is immediately obliterated because your administration is murdering people in broad daylight, which then awakens people to the other horrors of ICE in this country.
Over and over again,
Each of their crutches, each of the legs on their chairs keep plopping up.
And finally, their final one that for so long, for often no good reason, given how many times the Democratic administration usually has to come in after a Republican administration and clean up the economy.
Nevertheless, they've been able to rely on the economy as a crutch issue in the past.
But with everything else being a mess and the economy patently being the final leg on the chair, there's nothing to rely on.
And I know, Don, you said that it takes some time for the administration to catch up, especially in the information environment we're in now, which is just such a bubble, considering half the administration members live on Twitter.
