Yeah, I mean, I think that he clearly does still have some support in the locker room, considering that the players were walking around in free-four shirts for a far more abhorrent incident that he had this time last year.
You know, back at, I believe that was the Eagles game that they were doing that.
I do think there is a certain, too, if you can ball, you can get those exemptions for the team.
I certainly hope the Chiefs have learned a lesson here, though, because I found out very early post-draft in 2023, I believe, or yeah, 2023, that several teams had him off the board, and that became much more widely publicized once the incident came out.
I will say, from what I can tell, the last two years, the Chiefs haven't really taken any character concerns.
I know Josh Simmons kind of had a maturity flag, and that kind of came to light a little bit this year.
But there's not been anything off the field as far as legal troubles go for him.
So hopefully they're learning some of their lessons here.
And look, Rasheed Rice is a great talent, and I will give the Chiefs a lot of credit.
Rasheed Rice is a much different player than he was at SMU.
And the way that they used him, I think it took some courage to turn him into this yak-centric machine because that was not his game at SMU.
He came out of school comparing himself to DeAndre Hopkins as an ex-player who was playing on the outside and winning at the catch point and more of a contested catch guy.
But at the same point, they've got to see the burden that this has been on them for years now and realize this juice isn't worth the squeeze.
I think it's probably two things.
I think the first thing is the run game as a whole has to improve, not just the talent, which we know they've invested heavily there with Kenneth Walker and Emmitt Johnson, even bringing in Imari DiMarcato.
They've got to get more explosive runs.
They had two explosive runs the entire season that were not Patrick Mahomes from the running backs.
That was the last in the NFL this year.
So it has to improve, and you can't count on those explosive runs from Patrick Mahomes either.
That's why if you go and look at the Chiefs' EPA per run,
