So the first one is my data says otherwise, both as a receiver and giver.
So as someone that was spanked and does spanking, then somebody says, I disagree with this professional.
I am a teacher and this gentle parenting is not working.
Now, here's my problem with that comment.
We are not gentle parenters.
However, we will not be spanking.
And I do not think the two are synonymous.
Just because you don't spank does not mean you are a gentle parent.
Just means you don't spank.
