Well, it may do.
It's up to the man.
But it's important that you identify those priorities and talk about pros and cons.
Yeah, so radiotherapy for prostate cancer has been around for a long time.
Traditionally, it took eight weeks to give, which is a big chunk of time for a man.
And then about 10 years ago, we found out that we could give it in four weeks, so 20 treatments in four weeks.
But since 2019, we've been treating men with prostate sabre, initially just on trials, but now it's more widely available in our clinics.
And that's just five treatments over two weeks.
So and men, not only is it men do want this convenience, of course.
but it's supported by the very best clinical trials and the results have been incredibly encouraging.
Yeah, so prostate sabre is a really important treatment to have available for men and it has a little negative that
it has a higher risk of urinary side effects compared to standard radiotherapy.
Not necessarily incontinence.
That's not that common actually with this treatment, luckily.
But things like urinary frequency or having to rush to the toilet.
So it is more common with prostate sabre than standard treatment.
Now, prostate sabre, like surgery, treats the entire gland.
