And so, of course, beyond the Roman Empire.
So the Iron Age doesn't just disappear.
It becomes part of Roman Britain and Britain long after the Iron Age seems to end.
Yes, Tom, how do you think, how should we view Iron Age Britain today?
I would say Iron Age Britain really sets up what we think of Britain.
You know, if you think of the landscapes intensively farmed by the end of the Iron Age, you know, they are establishing the operda, these large places, many of which become Roman towns.
They're still towns today, like Colchester.
So it really sets the framework for much of what is Britain, I would say, an intensively farmed and occupied landscape.
