You know, I'm going away for the weekend.

I'm not packing my hand luggage full of injections or a vacuum device or whatever it may be.

So in men in whom either injectables have failed or vacuum devices have failed or men that don't want to do that, penile implant surgery is a brilliant option.

And a penile implant is a device that consists of two cylinders that sit in the penis and

So there's nothing to see on the outside world.

The one that I most commonly put in is called an inflatable device.

There's also what we call a semi-rigid device, which is more crude and sort of less, dare I say, flexible in terms of offering a man the ability to have the penis in a flaccid state or an erect state.

So it's almost semi-erect mostly.

Correct, correct.

But if you've got a patient who's got several comorbidities, someone with really poor dexterity or hand function, well, that might be the right thing for them.

So the malleable device or the semi-rigid device is purely a directional device.

So they'll point it up when they need it and they'll point it down.

Yeah.

Yeah.

So as I say, it's a very crude device.

The other one is the inflatable.

And 99% of people that come and see me get an inflatable device.

They inflate it when they need it.
