As a teacher, I go to classroom and if I don't crack jokes...
Sometimes I go home and I sit and I say, I think I overdid it.
Today, I think I have to be quiet and just concentrate.
By the time I realize I'm having some conversation and cracking jokes, so it becomes very difficult to suppress it.
Well, in economics, we are always emphasising skills of the individual.
So we're talking about education, the person has master's, the person has bachelor's, PhD.
But even though you can have your PhD, you can have other skills, there are some in-built talent that also influence how you work.
This is a PAD work by one of my students.
He's called Johnson Wilson Apiakubi.
And the motivation was to go beyond the normal economic variables and go into what comes out naturally that can influence their performance.
Well, non-farm enterprise is more of business at the household level.
Small and micro entrepreneurship kind of activity.
If somebody is having a shop, that's a non-farm activity.
If somebody is having a restaurant, it's a non-farm activity.
That's the kind of activity that we are talking about.
The extroverts performed better relative to the others.
They are able to get more sales per worker.
But interestingly, something like openness and agreeableness didn't come out quite strongly.
So in that case, extroverts are seen to be performing better in this regard.
