There's a complete separation from HaKadosh Baruch Hu.
Rav Schechter said, yeah, that's a real problem.
And that likely leads to terrible Onesh and to terrible Yisroel.
And people were so angry.
Rabbi Adam said, we can never invite Rav Schechter back because he's so insensitive in this and that.
He's just saying what it says in all of Tanakh.
The question, though, is, and therefore what?
And therefore what?
Meaning, the way I heard Rav Si Berkowitz say it from Yeshiva Sner Yisroel,
He said it so beautifully and sensitively that when HaKadosh Baruch Hu decides to give a message, why would he talk to somebody who doesn't have ears?
Meaning, if Hashem is going to speak, Hashem is going to speak to those who have been trained to learn how to hear Him, who know, who have the sensitivity to listen to Him.
So if Hashem is sending a message to Klal Yisrael, and people simply don't have the education, the upbringing, the relationships with Torah and mitzvot, and with people who observe Torah and mitzvot, to possibly, possibly know how to internalize what HaKadosh Baruch Hu is saying,
So then he's not talking to them, he's talking to us.
And if there is somebody at fault for the fact that there are so many Jewish people in Israel and the world over who are completely assimilated, who are intermarrying, who God means nothing to them, who do not believe in God, it is not their fault, it is our fault.
We didn't create enough bridges.
We were not Mekadeshim Shemaim enough.
We, instead of looking for every possible opportunity, as we have so many times, to divide, to break, and to separate, if we just would have shown a little bit of love, shown a little bit of a sense of caring and respect.
And demonstrating what a beautiful life, religious life is, how many more people would be attracted to that life.
And that's our problem.
You know, Salvatrix said that, you know, the Rambam ties geula to tshuva.
