In fact, it sounds from the Shulchan Aruch, it sounds from the Makhluk, because we've shown them whether there's a mitzvah of eating charosis.
But we're asking that the maror is supposed to be dipped into the charosis, shaken off, and then eaten as maror.
You're not supposed to pile on charosis on the maror just because charosis is way more delicious than maror is.
If you want to eat charosses later on during the Seder, because today you have all Seder long.
You can eat charosses during the entire Shulchan Aruch if you really like it that much and you're not just eating it because it's the best of the bad options at that stage in the day when you're
This may also relate to this issue of whether there's a mitzvah, chilos, charosas, may relate to an issue of whether you're allowed to eat charosas on Erev Pesach.
Erev Pesach, you're really sorry, there's nothing to eat.
So can you eat charosas on Erev Pesach?
See, if there's a mitzvah, chilos, charosas, on the night of the Seder, probably you shouldn't eat on Erev Pesach.
just like you shouldn't, there's an issue to eat matzah, and you shouldn't drink wine on Erev Pesach, because anything you have mitzvah chila that night, you're supposed to avoid eating earlier that day.
But if there's no mitzvah chila, it's just something you dip in to take away the sharpness of the mara, or whatever it is, some element of the mara, so then l'chora, you'd be allowed to eat it.
Another thing that people make a mistake about,
is that, I always do this in my high school share, I always say, what does the word korech mean?
And everyone always says, korech means sandwich.
Korech does not mean sandwich anywhere in Shas.
Korech always means to wrap.
It means that you wrap something.
Why do we think korech means sandwich?
Because our matzahs are crackers.
