Just the sheer volume of minutes on the court is something that would tilt me, if I had to vote, to SGA.
I mean, Kevin Durant played 600 more minutes than both SGA and Jokic.
KD was number two in the league in minutes.
SGA was 45th.
It's not like the difference is top 10 in minutes for SGA to 130 minutes for Wemby, which he was.
I know it's a difference.
I can see that as well.
I think it's a very fair argument, but I don't think the difference is so overwhelming that I'm leaning SGA.
That's not a swing factor for me.
SGA played 68 games in the season.
Jokic played 65.
Wemby played 65, including the NBA Cup game.
I'm not going to fault SGA for sitting 26 fourth quarters this year because OKC was smoking everybody in part of it because of him.
And I'm also not going to blame Wemby for the same thing.
I think it's close in terms of the minutes, not this overwhelming factor in terms of swinging the vote one way or the other.
I think it's more what's tangible with SGA on offense versus what's, you know, a little bit harder to measure with Wemby's impact on the offensive end of the floor and also how you weigh offense versus defense.
I think those, in my opinion, are the biggest swing factors, more so than the minutes or games played aspects.
So I said earlier I would give Cooper Flagg my Rookie of the Year.
I am a little surprised at how much of a debate this has been.
Fully conceding that Khan leading the NBA in threes made is remarkable.
