I think the Lakers are going to be forced to pay him more than they would ideally want to because he is such an important cog of their team because Luka, that is his guy, and they cannot take away someone who is going to make Luka more comfortable on the court.

So they're going to have to pay him what he wants to be paid, in my opinion, because there are plenty of other teams that would make an offer on him for sure.
