Then they found blood stains on the couch, which they later found out belonged to Kevin.
Then on the carpet, they found what looked to be drops of blood from where a body had been moved.
It was clear that somebody attempted to clean up a bloody crime scene, but it was obvious that they missed a few spots.
At the apartment, they also spoke with a man that I mentioned earlier, Robert Moore.
He was living at the same place as Stretch and Joanne, and they had both previously clued him in on what they had done.
Again, they borrowed the tarp from him with Robert knowing that they were using it to bury a body.
Then they told him that they killed Kevin and then shoved an item up his rectum to make it look like a sexual act gone wrong.
But when police questioned Robert, he denied knowing anything about any of this.
Now, just to pause on the investigation for just a minute.
After the murders of these three men, Joanne Stretch and a third man named Mark Lloyd worked hard to cover their tracks.
They tried cleaning up the crime scene, as I discussed earlier, and they fled the area.
But as soon as they did so, Joanne's behaviors grew more and more violent.

On the afternoon of Tuesday, April 2nd, 2013, 63-year-old retired firefighter Robin Bereza was walking his dog, Sammy, along West Failing Street in Hereford, around 140 miles west of Petersburg.
