So, going back to November of 2022, Sarah was previously working for a company called Best Foot Forward before quitting and starting her own practice.
However, the reason she quit is because, according to her, she faced gender discrimination, disability discrimination, sexual harassment,
as well as insurance violations while working at Best Foot Forward.
She said that she wasn't paid in full or consistently for her work.
She had to take out a devastating amount of medical loans for her illness because of insurance issues.
So after leaving, she filed a lawsuit against her former employer.
In response, Best Foot Forward filed a countersuit, which stated that Sarah's physical and mental health are key issues in this case.
In the process of filing the suit and gathering information to support their claims, they subpoenaed several people.
including Robert and friends of Sarah's.
One of the key pieces of information they obtained was a very lengthy message that Sarah sent to one of her friends at Best Foot Forward asking for her support, asking her to do the right thing.
In that lengthy email, she writes about how she is afraid of Robert,
calling him a scary murderer.
I will read parts of that email to you now.
She wrote, quote, All I ask is that you do the right thing in your heart.
I am devastated to know that the one person who I knew I could count on and who I knew would be there for me, Sherry, has seen all of our texts and how you and I were scared but promised to stick up for each other and how you said you didn't want to quit and leave me alone to keep working there.
I'm hurt, not mad.
She writes about how her boss has filed a countersuit and says that she probably will lose and likely will be embarrassed by him and the whole thing and that her lawyer will be embarrassed because she will be made out to be a liar.
She continues, I've been homeless.
I've had to move in with my boyfriend, the murderer, which has been scary at times.
I've lost every penny and closed out my savings account.
