Well, two things.
One is I've been following the debates on other topics.
But when Louisiana, Tennessee, and Alabama replicated and see similar gains, this was not a one-trick pony.
So this was clearly they had figured it out.
And the truth is they didn't really figure it out except for they returned to the fundamentals.
They rewired every teacher around the science of reading phonics.
Train, train, train.
And they get constant training.
It's not one and done.
Right.
They get a coach.
The school gets a coach.
The school coach coaches the principal, coaches all the teachers on the science.
