When I was growing up, my father used to tell me over and over again, Randy, tie, tie, you lose, okay, brother?
Let me just tell you that.
And he was telling me that because when he was, you know, in an earlier time, tie, tie, you lose, it was, you know, if it's even and there's a choice to be made, the white person is going to get the benefit of the doubt.
Now, under affirmative action, there's been a switcheroo.
Oftentimes, it's the black person who gets the benefit of the doubt.
But I'm still in a situation in which- You have to work hard.

To avoid the stigmatization that is imposed by affirmative action.
