When you mix all of that shit together, sometimes it can get really hard to like see yourself for who you really are. Because you're looking at yourself through other people's lenses all the time.

Also understand that people are coming from a whole different perspective in life than you are. So sometimes whatever they're thinking about you or whatever they think about the work you put out, it's coming from a place that you might not even understand.

And that's like, again, a very subjective opinion. Like art is very subjective. So like it's to say one is good and one is bad is just like not fair. Exactly. And it's not said in good faith because art is art regardless. Whether it's well received by a lot of people, by a small part of people, by a medium sized amount of people, it's still art regardless. I feel like, especially someone like an artist like yourself is like, you're putting out something very vulnerable. And so to hear people say rude or callous things, it's like, of course it's going to rub you the wrong way because it's like, this is coming from a very truthful place. Exactly.
