And then being around music growing up, like my dad would show me different artists and play different music and just seeing how it moved him and my mom. I just feel like songs and music albums live with us through like each section of our life. And I think that's so special that we can like associate different periods and different times and emotions and heartbreak and things.

I wish, I wish I woke up and I was like, Oh, I'm an amazing singer. I know everybody tells me that every time I have lots of friends who are singers and artists and they're like,

Yeah, so I was, honestly, so I met Monty Booker in Chicago when I was around 15. And that's when I started to make my own music. And with him, I kind of figured out what my style was and what I wanted to put out. So we put that out on SoundCloud. I didn't think anything of it. I just wanted to put music online.

But then people really started to gravitate towards it in Chicago and liked it and labels were calling. It honestly happened really quickly. And me being 15 at the time, I don't think I got the full scope of what all of that meant and what that type of attention meant and how to go about it.
