No, mullets are cool at the moment.

I said bullets probably because B was in my mind.

Did you know that?

That we store seven words in our short-term memory.

And that's why you get spoonerisms.

So I was thinking about the next word I was going to say, which is balamory, but I was saying mullet.

And the B from balamory, in my short-term memory, went at the beginning of mullet and became bullet.

I remember learning that in college and I was fascinated by it.

Why do we do spoonerisms?

Why do we get our letters mixed up?

And that's the reason.

Because there are seven of them waiting to get out.

And sometimes in the rush to get out of your short-term memory and into your mouth, they get mixed up.

So that's why Mullet became Bullet and now we're on to Balamore.

That's slightly interesting, isn't it?

Yeah, Balamore is back.

And I don't know if Balamore played any part in the life of your child, but it did.

So it ran between 2002 and 2005 when our Kate was just a babby and she loved it.
