Because I've read out, you know, people saying a cousin of mine knew a man who got a flight to Austria thinking he was going to Australia.

I've read those out and it was always a cousin or a second cousin or a man who knows a man or a man who met a man in a pub who knows a woman who did it.

And

And then it grew legs.

Yeah, kangaroo legs.

And then there was a story of a desk in Salzburg Airport in Austria.

which was especially there for people who had mistook Austria for Australia.

So if you arrived in and you were one of those people who'd made that big mistake, there was a special desk for you and you could press a button and somebody would come and help you.

The sign, it says, sorry, this is Austria, not Australia, need help, please press the button.

So that did the rounds as well.

So people were going, this must be a thing.

And they were saying, depending on where you were reading, that 100 passengers, 200 passengers a year mistook Austria for Australia.

So I did another bit of digging.

Digging so far that I got to the bottom of the world.

Remember that?

If you dig that hole deep enough, you'll end up in Australia.

Anyway, not Austria.
