Bad signal, sorry.
You could argue, I suppose, that we're not built to talk on the phone.
You know, human beings.
Why would you enjoy it?
It always goes back to that thing that our brains are designed to be in a group of around 150.
So we can know the faces of 150 and 150 names because that's how we used to hang out back in the day.
But now, of course, we live in these... Like in Kildare Town.
Small talk.
Yeah, well, that's what they say.
And we can't, our brains can't cope with it.
And then you add on all the technology, the fact that you can pick up the phone and talk to somebody at the other side of the world.
Imagine our ancestors trying to cope with that.
I read a book about 20 years ago called Mismatch.
And your man's thesis was that we have, with our big brains, advanced our environment quicker than our brains are able to cope with.
Yes.
Sounds like counterintuitive.
So we've changed more than any other species.
We've changed our environment and our brains haven't caught up yet.
So, and he said that that's the reason for a lot of the illnesses, modern day illnesses, both physical and mental.
So there, mismatch.
