The people who own it want to do it up.
And then people are giving out because they're saying Stephen's Green is part of what Dublin is.
The glass dome at the top of Grafton Street has been there since the late 80s.
So objections have been lodged to the new plans.
Save Stephen's Green campaign was backed by a petition of 20,000 signatures.
In the Council Planners Report recommending planning permission, it stated that the applicant has chosen to retain the majority of the architectural design of the corner element as initially proposed.
It looks like it'll go ahead.
Of course, before Stephen's Green, there was the Dandelion Market, yes.
And people of a certain age will know the Dandelion Market.
That was gone, that was there till the late 70s.
I remember going up there and buying a pair of
white Levi jeans, which I was very proud of in the Dandelion Market.
