Value will depend on whether there's some kind of extension tied to him.

And to me, it buys time for agents to get involved and to see if you can work out a deal because if you're the acquiring team, you're only going to pay so much if you've only got them for the next five months.

You know, potentially, if you go through and deep in the playoffs or if you've got him for four more years, that's a whole different whole different game.

So he doesn't want to move twice.

And I think that's entirely his right.

The the one thing the Rangers have to be careful of is that he says, OK, I'm not moving twice.

and I don't have an extension done, so I'm staying here until the end of the year.
