Everybody's got cap space all over the place.

And by the way, there are no free agents.

So if you're going to get into a trading scenario, who or what are you going to trade?

There's not enough assets to trade forward.

So I personally, when I looked at the Leafs and, you know, they let Brad go and they were going to hire whoever they did, my thought was this is a time where you've probably got to spend a little time accumulating some assets as opposed to trading them off.

I just don't, I don't see a quick fix.

Like I know priority one he said was, Chayka said was to fix the blue line.

With who?

No kidding.

And how are you getting them?

Oh, I think it's a time to turtle a little bit and say, like, we've got to accumulate some assets so we can have some options going forward.

I find it ridiculous when I hear people talking, and I'm not talking specific to the Leafs because it's in almost any other place I hear too.

Well, we need a scoring winger.

We need a big mobile defenseman.

We need a creative center.

Yeah, good.

Good for you.

But you need the pick in the first place.

Right.

You need the asset in the first place.
