you know, a paper, you know, a document saying about deals that they thought would be possible.
If you haven't been in the conversations for the previous months, how would you know what deal is even possible?
Maybe you're spinning tires.
You got too many people
suggesting something at the very end of the road.
If they wanted to be involved earlier, be involved earlier.
To me, it's a lack of structure and communication in management, and that stuff always flows downhill.
It always flows there.
It confuses decisions.
You lose clarity as to who's in charge.
You lose a direction as to what are they actually trying to accomplish.
Like all of those things, if Keith Pelley, who now doesn't have a hockey president, decides to get involved at the deadline with another analytical guy that's not been around the team in the discussions, it makes no sense.

from from people that i know i mean obviously cammy's one of them but the analytics people they're in hockey discussions all year they don't just show up and say hey here's my document and read it they're involved in there there's back and forth and you try and formulate a plan and and um who you're looking for and i don't know the what are the leafs looking for
You know what became really clear noodles out of that article was people that think this is a short turnaround, they're in the wrong lane.
It's just not going to be.
I think those guys, we might have mentioned this before, I think the players like that.
