How would anybody know?
Like, how long is it going to take?
How long is it going to take in Toronto?
I hope it's two years.
Maybe it's one.
Might be five.
Like, what if, first of all, you've got to get the picks.
Then once you get these kids or you trade them for players, it might take them 18 months, two years to be effective in the league.
Like, trying to put a timeline on this is nonsense.
What has to happen is there has to be a plan, and the plan's got to be believable.
It can't be fantasy land.
They want to fix the defense?
And I guess what becomes at the end is the plan changes.
The internal plan has to be one that's realistic.
I often wonder about when guys get these jobs in teams that are in turmoil, which I guess is the reason why there's a new general manager, is that part of their message is full of it.
