If you watch Oregon's games this year, he really jumps out as one of their top guys on defense.
And then he really solidified his standing at the combine.
One of the top, one of the fastest defensive backs at the combine jumped really well too.
So, you know,
He's an elite athlete.
So when you combine his testing numbers at the Combine, and believe me, I'm not, you know, the Combine just sort of reinforces what the scouts already knew.
I think this guy really solidified himself as a first-round pick, and I think he could be there at 21.
There's even some speculation now, given what he did in Indy, that he might be gone before 21.
But I think he might be there, and I think if he's there, the Steelers are going to have a tough decision to make.
No, it doesn't matter because you never want to draft a guy.
I mean, just look, I hate to bring this up because it was 10 years ago, but you never want to draft a guy and have to play him.
Like Artie Burns was their first-round pick in 2016, and that didn't work out.
So you always want to have a backup plan, and the fact that the Steelers only signed Brisker to a one-year deal tells me that they really like the safety class.
So, yeah, I think it's just we're sort of seeing the pieces fit.
If you also, Joe, I don't want to jump off safety just yet, but if you also look at what they didn't do at guard, guard is also in play now at 21 because they didn't.
sign anyone after they let Isaac Sayamalu go.
And the same thing at receiver.
Yes, they signed Michael Pittman, but if you look at their depth at receiver, it's DK Metcalf, it's Michael Pittman, and it's Roman Wilson.
And that's it.
They could still fit another receiver in there at 21 and be okay for the future.
