He is a really good number three receiver.
And you draft a guy in the first round this year who ascends to a number one or a number two, that's great news.
Like two or three years from now, $20 million a year for a number three receiver won't be a bad price.
Ray, do you think they sign another wide receiver in free agency?
No, I think it'll probably be the draft.
I mean, they might sign somebody to a vet minimum contract, like a Scotty Miller type of a signing.
I wouldn't rule out...
Calvin Austin coming back, you know, obviously for probably less than 5 million.
I think Calvin was hoping for, for a little bit more.
He hasn't got it yet, but yeah, I think if, if they want to bring back somebody like that to be like a, you know, in contention for a four or five, six spot, you know, that might happen, but I think they're going to go and draft one or two receivers and probably do a pretty early on Thursday or Friday.
Yeah, listen, I agree with you.
And I'm not saying he's a bust.
And, you know, what I've been telling people is they've been pretty fortunate with Najee Harry and Jalen Warren and Kenneth Gainwell last year, injury-wise.
Like, you know, it's been a good run for them with their running backs not having major injuries.
And...
it doesn't always turn out that way.
So, you know, Caleb Johnson might get an opportunity next season to show what he has, but it's only going to be if Dowdle or Jalen Warren, you know, is lost for a significant amount of time.
So, you know, he's going to have to work while he waits.
You know, a lot of, a lot of young players have to do that.
You know, most third round picks don't have to do that, but he didn't have a good rookie year.
