If all it takes to satisfy Cam is, say, another $5 million, if they can do that and not have any money going into 2027, I think that's an easy out for them.

We'll see what happens, but as you know, Cam's going to turn 37 in May.

He's aged very well, but there is a point in time where

where his play is going to be on the decline, and the Steelers have to be prepared for that.

Yeah, listen, if you let him play out the final year of his contract,

and he signs a nice deal the following season, you're going to be rewarded with a nice comp pick.

You know what the Steelers got for Dan Moore.

They got a third-round pick for Dan Moore in that contract.

Now, I don't know that Nick Herbig is going to command that type of money, but you would get a nice comp pick in return.

Now, the thing the Steelers have to put into the equation here is this is an extremely deep and good draft for edge rushers.

So if you did want to try to trade Nick Herbig, let's say you think you can get more than a third or a fourth round pick.

Let's say you think you can get a second round pick for Nick Herbig.

Maybe you pull the trigger on that and say, okay, we're going to trade Nick Herbig.

We're going to get a second round pick in return or an early third, whatever you think is the best offer.
