I think they both grew into those roles.
I mean, we all know once Cowher had some success, he won that power struggle with Tom Donahoe.
And I think Tomlin just over the years developed a really good rapport with Kevin Colbert.
And I think the last three years with Omar, it was kind of seamless as well, you know, in terms of traveling to the scouting days and,
You know, all of that stuff.
So I don't think the new guy is going to come in and have final say over draft picks or anything like that.
But his system does matter.
I mean, if you hire Mike McCarthy or Nate Sheilhaus, why wouldn't you give him a lot of authority when it comes to the offense, especially โ
a quarterback that you might pick in the draft or acquire via free agency.
So I think you kind of have to pick and choose where you let these guys make some of those decisions and personnel.
But I think really this is a perfect opportunity for both Omar and Andy, if he stays, to really shape this roster the way they want to shape it.
And I'm not saying they didn't have that chance.
Yeah, I have no reason to believe it's not going to stay that way.
I think Art was asked this during the news conference.
Are you still going to have the head coach report to you?
And he said, yes.
So to your point, in a lot of organizations, the head coach will report to the GM and then the GM reports to the owner.
In Pittsburgh, the GM reports to the owner, the head coach reports to the owner, and there's really
You know, there's really no second guessing.
They both have, you know, have a direct line to the top there.
