But by the second, third interview, however many times they met with him, they finally realized,

that he was the guy they wanted.

So they're going to cast a wide net.

You know, they got eight names now.

Who knows, it might go to eight or ten before they start to pare it down.

So I just think it's way too early to tell.

The one thing I will mention, it seems like the Roonies are kind of enamored with the McVeigh-Shanahan coaching tree.

Four of those guys are direct branches off either McVeigh or Shanahan.

So I think that is noteworthy as we get going here.

Let me add a fourth.

Jeff Halfley is also a Shanahan guy.

He was with

Shanahan with the Browns in the 49ers, so I forgot him.

You know, it doesn't seem like a guy, like an older guy in their 50s is their type.

You know, it seems like they always want to go after a guy who's younger, who's maybe an up-and-coming coordinator.

So I think we see a lot of those guys in this cycle right now.

I think the only guy with head coaching experience of the eight right now is Brian Flores.

And you know, Brian was here in 2022.

Everybody else is of the younger variety.

And there are young coordinator who's coming up and it's kind of a hot name right now.
