I'm sure it's... I mean, listen, Aaron has a good relationship with Omar, but I'm sure he's dealing with Mike McCarthy more than anyone else.

Those guys go back how many years?

Almost 20 years now.

So I'm sure Mike McCarthy is the point man on that.

It wouldn't be good for Will Howard in the short or long term.

I think you have to have somebody with some experience come in and be that guy.

They could be as high on Will Howard as they want, and they are.

But you're not going to put a guy in that position with zero NFL experience in that position.

That wouldn't serve your team well, and that wouldn't serve him well.

So, you know, like I said, whether it's a trade target or a free agent, they would get somebody else in here to compete for that job with Mason Rudolph and Will Howard.

They would not just leave it up to Mason and Will.

I think it would be a less splashy type of player.

I mean, just look at

Look at the way that they approached the Justin Fields thing.

They acquired him in a trade, but it was a very reasonable contract.

And, you know, they kind of knew what his worth was, and they kind of knew what it was then and what it was going to be going forward.
