That's also what happened.

I think at sentencing too, like when, like the main kid got sentenced, Sorby, he was like, yeah, I know we did what we do is wrong, but like, you know, I tried to take the Silicon Valley approach and like, you know,

fake it until you make it and then build after the fact.

I went up there, I was like, I'm sorry.

I know what we did was wrong.

I'm gonna try to make everybody as whole as possible.

And that's it.

That's literally all I said.

I was like, I'm sober.

I'm trying to do the right thing.

I'm sorry.

I didn't say anything about trying to like, oh, but.

You can't throw but in there and try to defend yourself in a speech to the judge last minute before you get sentenced.
