So the two damaging things that these results can create is disordered eating.
So it can push people in the direction of really, really restricted diets.
And it can be associated with things like orthorexia and avoidant restrictive food intake disorder.

especially with children, is it can actually contribute to the development of a true IgE allergy of the sort that can create anaphylaxis.
So with very small children and weaning babies, the best and safest thing has been shown to introduce and keep allergens like milk, dairy, fish, nuts, tree nuts, sesame in their diets when they're really little, so six months and up.
