It's nice to read something that makes you happy, isn't it?
And I think we'll talk about this a little bit later in the show, I guess, but...
You know, all these naysayers who just turn around and say, oh, well, it can't be proper literature because, you know, it's fun and enjoyable.
Actually, some of what we now consider to be literature did start off as being written off as light and fluffy and not literary enough.
And I think, you know, she really does show that growth and acknowledgement that we can and do and should change.
Listening to her then and actually reading bits and pieces of the book about a month ago, I was actually really reminded of the seven stages of grief.
When you become bereaved, nobody expects you just to go, OK, I'm through those seven stages within seven hours, within a week.
to actually go through those stages of grief and learn by your mistakes and your missteps and become a wiser person.
And she is totally and utterly right.
And I think it's probably because she's been on the end of some fairly negative trolling, because that's what happens if you put your head up and try and be an influencer or have a public voice.
I think she's learned that actually...
The world has become very binary and we don't allow each other time to grow and develop.
And I loved hearing her newly acquired wisdom.
And I think she's going to become an even stronger advocate for the blind community in years to come because she's learned that lesson, maybe the hard way, but certainly in a mature way.
Well, yeah, I mean, it's funny.
