There is no physical product there for us to own anymore when we download these things onto our phones.

As soon as we stop that subscription, they all disappear.

And unfortunately, they own the platform.

They have the power.

We can't do anything about it.

Most authors don't earn very much money.

And these platforms are charging an enormous amount of money for not really giving a particularly Rolls-Royce service.

It's a usable service.

I give them that.

But, you know, they're not...

There is so much on Audible that you are just assaulted by the choice.

And it's very, very difficult to pick out a book, as you might have done off a shelf or, you know, from a carefully curated table of books in a bookshop.
