I was like, thanks, Isaac.
Performance review.
I did at that point.
But...
There was another moment with dad that made me feel completely the opposite.
My dad had one of the great boomer moments in the, in the lead up to the magistrate's court related to George Pell.
And this is like, you know, a few months before I'm about to go into the magistrate's court.
So this, you know, the magistrate's court finally happened, you know, four and a half, about four and a half years after the actual assault took so long to get there.
Which is, yeah, discussion in itself.
Is that just you like waiting?
I'm just waiting.
You're waiting.
Just waiting, waiting, waiting.
And you're just like putting off my life continuously for this court date.
And so I'm feeling all sorts of like anxiety leading up to this court date, just wanting to be around people who make me feel safe and supported.
And my dad is like a deeply faithful man.
And for many people of his generation, George Pell wasn't a criminal.
He was a hero.
And so when the topic came up at dinner one night, he said, George Pell is one of the greatest Catholics of our generation.
And the whole table went silent.
